Clomid (clomiphene) is a female fertility rug that stimulates ovulation. While taking Clomid or shortly after the therapy you may experience visual side effects and will need to be very careful if you need to operate machinery or do any tasks of that kind. Your condition may need to be monitored throughout the entire period of the treatment to make sure you are benefitting from it and do not need your dose to be adjusted. Your doctor is supposed to know if you have thyroid problem, liver disease, undiagnosed vaginal bleeding, endometriosis, any chronic medical illness, ovarian cysts, pregnancy, or uterine fibroids, as some of those conditions may be contraindications for using Clomid. Mild side effects are sometimes possible when taking Clomid. But since the treatment usually takes just a few days (this drug is taken in cycles) you may be recommended to keep on taking Clomid in spite of such symptoms as ovarian enlargement, breast tenderness, flushing, vomiting, headache, blurred vision, and nausea. Always take as much of Clomid as prescribed. If you happened to take more and experience symptoms such as abdominal pain, nausea, flushing, vomiting, or blurred vision, seek emergency medical help.
